Arsenal’s hopes of landing Steven N’Zonzi may have been boosted following the news that Roma officials were caught in two minds over a deal to sign the player.
According to Calciomercato, Monchi held talks over a potential deal in America yesterday, however, the club’s president James Pallotta is said to have some concerns over a deal.
The Roma director of football had been hoping to get a deal over the line this summer.

Those behind the scenes have some reservations about the player’s age, with the former Stoke man due to turn 30 at the end of the year.
The player is also believed to be demanding a €3 million salary.
Arsenal, Roma and Barcelona are all said to be considering moves for the French international.
Recent reports have claimed that the player has made the club aware of his desire to leave the club this summer.
