Arsenal goalkeeper Matt Macey has joined Plymouth Argyle on loan for the entire of the 2018/19 season.
The youngster made some cup appearances for the Gunners last season in the Carabao Cup and the Europa League.
However, with recent signing Bernd Leno being brought in to challenge Petr Cech, Macey is very much down the pecking order at the Gunners.
Macey will, therefore, join Plymouth in League One, with Argyle adding some strength to their goalkeeping lineup.
This follows last season, where the Pilgrims had a goalkeeping crisis with almost all of their first choice keepers out injured.
This isn’t Macey’s first loan spell away from the Gunners. The Goalkeeper spent some time at Luton Town, where he made thirteen appearances for the Hatters.
He also spent time at Accrington Stanley in the 2014/15 season.
