Arsenal tell club how much they’ll need to pay to land forward

Italian side Lazio have been told that they will need to pay €8 million in order to sign Lucas Perez from Arsenal.

Football Italia, who cite claims from Corriere di Roma, suggest that the forward is set to leave the Emirates this summer.

The Spaniard has been deemed surplus to requirement and is unlikely to feature in Unai Emery’s plans going forward.

Perez was on loan at Spanish side Deportivo La Coruna last season and has struggled to impress since moving from La Liga.

The striker has been involved in Emery’s pre-season games, but he has failed to impress when given the opportunity to do so.

The Serie A side have money to spend this summer after selling Felipe Anderson to West Ham in a big-money deal.

They are also bracing themselves for interest in Sergej Milinkovic-Savic this summer, with the Serbian valued at close to £100 million.
