Chelsea have reportedly rejected the opportunity to sign Arsenal and Tottenham target Andre Gomes, as part of a deal to take Willian to Barcelona.
Mundo Deportivo reports that Barcelona were forced to turn their attention to Malcom when it became clear that Chelsea were not interested in selling the winger.
The La Liga champions tabled a cash offer which included Gomes, with the Catalan side looking to offload the player this summer.
Barcelona hit the headlines when they hijacked a move for Malcom at the last minute, with the player appearing set to join Roma.
Both Arsenal and Spurs have also been heavily linked with a move for the Portuguese midfielder.
Unai Emery is a known admirer of the player, but doubts have been cast about a potential move to the Emirates.
Tottenham had previously been named as the player’s most likely destination after falling out of favour at the Nou Camp.
