Unai Emery worked with N’Zonzi before and looks keen to bring him to the Emirates but the €40m asking fee looks to be too high for the club to pay for a 29-year-old.
The midfielder, who was part of France’s World Cup winning squad, is thought to be interested in the move to Arsenal if the clubs can agree a fee.
N’Zonzi, who has had spells with both Blackburn Rovers and Stoke City prior to his move to Spain, would be keen to play Premier League football once again, whilst the prospect of teaming up with his old manager also interests him.
Sevilla are in no need to sell N’Zonzi, so it remains to be seen if Arsenal are able to negotiate a smaller fee.
