Serie A’s Lazio have confirmed that they will face Arsenal as part of their pre-season preparations.
The two sides will meet in Stockholm on August 4, according to Football Italia.
The game, which has been described as a ‘glamour friendly’ will see the Italian side face the Gunners before they embark on a pre-season camp in Germany.
The match is scheduled to kick off at 8pm local time.
The Gunners have already kicked off their pre-season preparations with an 8-0 win over Boreham Wood.
The game against Boreham Wood is a regular part of Arsenal’s pre-season tradition following the links between the two clubs.
Arsenal are also due to face Atletico Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea as part of the International Champions Cup before the Premier League season gets underway.
The pre-season tournament will give fans the opportunity to see Unai Emery’s Arsenal in action against some of Europe’s biggest sides.
