Arsenal reportedly face competition in their pursuit of Sevilla midfielder Steven N’Zonzi, with Roma reportedly joining the race for the former Stoke City man.
Roma are reportedly ready to bid for the Frenchman, with his release clause set at 35 million euros at Sevilla according to Calcio Mercato.
N’Zonzi recently returned from World Cup action, where the French star was able to help his country lift the famous trophy in Russia.
Arsenal are reportedly interested in bringing N’Zonzi back to England, with Unai Emery keen on reuniting with the man he brought to Sevilla back in 2015.
Roma are looking for a player to partner Daniele De Rossi, and N’Zonzi would fit that role. He would also ask for a salary under 5 million euros, which is an attractive prospect for the Italian side.
Arsenal may have to move fast to secure the player, with Roma having an interest in the Frenchman.
