# Arsenal pushing for the signing of World Cup winner

Arsenal are continuing to push for the signing of Sevilla star Steven N’Zonzi, according to reports from France.

The Gunners have long been linked with a move for the midfielder and following the arrival of Unai Emery at the club, the speculation has only further developed.

N’Zonzi played a part in France’s triumphant World Cup campaign in Russia this summer and is believed to be seeking pastures new ahead of next season.

It’s claimed by RMC Sport, as cited by GFFN this evening, that Emery, who worked with N’Zonzi at Sevilla during his time in Spain, remains insistent that the Gunners recruit a physically imposing midfielder.

Emery has previously insisted that he is happy with the club’s summer dealings but will not hesitate in moving for a player of high quality should the opportunity present itself.

With N’Zonzi continuously linked with a switch to Arsenal this summer, it seems the club could yet make one more addition.
