# Arsenal and Barcelona leading the race to land PSG star

Arsenal and Barcelona are the two front-runners in the race to sign Adrien Rabiot from PSG this summer, according to reports from RMC Sport, as cited by GFFN.

The France international is believed to be keen on departing the Ligue 1 giants this summer, putting a whole host of top clubs across Europe on red alert.

Unai Emery worked with Rabiot during his stint in Paris and if RMC are to be believed, the Spaniard is eyeing a reunion with the impressive midfielder in North London.

Arsenal are well-stocked with midfield options following their recent acquisition of Lucas Torreira from Sampdoria, but it seems Rabiot could be a target for the Gunners if a deal is feasible.

Emery recently [insisted that the transfer business at the Emirates was finished](https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11670/11434336/unai-emery-believes-arsenal-transfer-business-is-complete) unless a big opportunity for his side arose. With Rabiot seemingly a target, perhaps the new Gunners boss is targeting the midfielder as a surprise marquee signing.
