Mesut Ozil is being urged to seriously consider his international future by his own father.
Speaking to Bild, as reported by TalkSPORT, Mustafa Ozil has said it is time for his son to call time on his Germany career after the 2018 World Cup.
If I were in his place, I would say: ‘Thank you, but that’s enough’. He’s bent, disappointed and offended, yes, offended, his own fans booed him before the World Cup at the international in Austria and he cannot understand why.

The midfielder struggled to perform in Russia and was booed by his own supporters.
Ozil was among a number of German players to find their names in the headlines for the wrong reasons.
He was criticised for being pictured with Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan with tensions high among both countries.
Germany were knocked out of the World Cup in the group stages following eye-catching defeats against Mexico and South Korea.
It has since been confirmed that Joachim Löw will remain in charge of the German national team, despite their disappointing performance in Russia.
