Unai Emery is said to be very interested in the prospect of bringing Andre Gomes to Arsenal this summer.
However, The Independent report that should Emery want to pursue his interest the club would need to sell players first in order to afford the deal.
Despite the Portuguese midfielder’s struggles at Barcelona, Emery is reportedly a huge admirer of the player.

Due to Arsenal’s busy summer transfer window, as things stand, there is not enough funds left in their transfer budget to secure a deal.
The report claims that Emery would be willing to lose players in order to fund a new deal, with Barcelona demanding a fee in the region of £30 million, despite his turbulent form since arriving from Valencia.
Stephan Lichtsteiner, Bernd Leno and Sokratis have all joined the club this summer, with Lucas Torreira expected to follow after the World Cup in what has been a busy summer for the new Gunners boss.
