Arsenal defender Calum Chambers has signed a new long-term contract with the club, the Daily Mail have confirmed.
Chambers’ current deal was due to run out in the summer of 2021, with this extension set to tie down his long-term future in London.
New Arsenal manager Unai Emery is said to be a fan of Chambers and sees potential in the defender.
The 23-year-old has struggled to make his mark at The Emirates in recent seasons but has shown signs of promise for the future.
Chambers spent a season on-loan to Middlesbrough during the 2016/17 campaign, where he impressed in defence despite their relegation back to the Championship.
The versatile defender could be set for another loan move for the upcoming season if Emery deems it best for his development.
Chambers is yet to fully realise his potential at the club following a big-money move from Southampton at a young age.
