# Arsenal eyeing deal for Spanish international

Arsenal are eyeing a deal for Real Madrid winger Lucas Vazquez, alongside other Premier League sides.

[According to Spanish outlet Marca](https://www.marca.com/en/football/real-madrid/2018/06/30/5b374382268e3ecf0a8b45c3.html), Arsenal are interested in making a move for Vazquez this summer.

The report claims that Liverpool, Chelsea and AC Milan are all in the hunt for the Spanish international.

Vazquez is currently in Russia with Spain for the World Cup, where he is set to feature in their last 16 clash with the hosts on Sunday.

AC Milan have made contact with Real Madrid about a potential deal for Vazquez, but Arsenal could swoop in and seal a deal for the winger.

Vazquez is said to be happy and settled in Madrid, and will not make a decision on his future until after the World Cup.

Real Madrid are eyeing up a move for Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, which Chelsea could use in negotiations for Vazquez if they become serious about a move. This could dampen Arsenal’s chances of landing the forward.
