Arsenal have been dealt a major blow after it was reported that Chelsea are leading the race to sign CSKA Moscow star Aleksandr Golovin.
The Russian international has been a target for several clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea and Juventus and it now looks like the Blues are leading the chase for his signature.
Juventus had been preparing to raise their offer for Golovin to over €20 million plus bonuses. However, it now looks like the Italian side have pulled out of the race, leaving Chelsea in the driving seat for any potential deal.

Golovin shone for Russia in their opening games at the World Cup, scoring on home soil for his side as they eased into the knockout stages.
Russia face a tough test on Sunday as they face Spain for the chance to reach the quarter-finals and if they lose that game, Golovin could well be on his way to Stamford Bridge sooner rather than later.
