James Rodriguez has emerged as a surprise target for Arsenal and Chelsea following the news he is unlikely to sign permanently for Bayern Munich.
Sky Sports in Germany cite reports from Diario Gol that claim the player does not want to play under new manager Niko Kovac.
Bayern had been hoping to land the player on a permanent basis this summer and had a €55 million deal arranged after the Colombian enjoyed a productive season on loan from Real Madrid.

However, Rodriguez now looks set for another move, with the Premier League looking a likely destination.
The report claims that Unai Emery is looking to make a marquee offensive signing this summer and hint Rodriguez could the man to fit the bill.
Chelsea have also been linked with a move, but with neither club able to offer the player Champions League football, it is yet to be seen if he would be interested in a move to London.
