Football agent Branislav Jasurek has let slip the news that Arsenal have already agreed a deal to sign Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira.
Jasurek is the agent of Celta Vigo’s Stanislav Lobotka and when asked if his client would be moving to the Emirates this year, as some reports had suggested, he said:
Arsenal have bought Torreira to play six, so I do not think it’s going to happen.

Torreira had an excellent game earlier today as Uruguay hammered hosts Russia 3-0 at the World Cup, preserving their unbeaten record. The 22-year-old seems almost certain to be at Arsenal next year, and it feels like it is only a matter of time before his arrival is officially announced.
Lobotka, who was discussed as a reported Arsenal target earlier this year, will have no interest in competing with both Torreira and Granit Xhaka, so it looks like he’ll be heading elsewhere, rather than to the Gunners, who’ll be entering a season without Arsene Wenger as manager for the first time since the mid 1990’s
