Caglar Soyuncu has revealed that he has turned down offers from clubs in order to hold out for a move to Arsenal.
According to a report from Gunes, as cited on Goal, the defender is a man in demand, with Arsenal expected to sign him this summer.
Arsenal have been heavily linked with a move for the Turkish international for some time and the 22-year-old has talked up a move.
I hope I go to Arsenal, I really want to play in the Premier League, but everything depends on the team. I have a contract [at Freiburg] for three more years.
I received bids from some of the teams in Turkey. I would not be able to give the team a name, but I did not accept it. I do not think about playing in Turkey at the moment. I want to continue my career in Europe, but of course, we do not know what will happen in the future.

Soyuncu has impressed for Freiburg in the Bundesliga and his performances have not gone unnoticed.
The youngster is viewed as one for the future, but reshaping the Gunners’ defence has been a top priority for new manager Unai Emery.
Stephan Lichtsteiner joined the club on a free transfer from Juventus and Bernd Leno arrived from Bayer Leverkusen earlier this week.
Arsenal conceded the most goals of any club inside the top seven last season, so improving the backline is a must if Emery is to succeed at the Emirates.
