Aleksandr Golovin’s father has confirmed that the Arsenal target is in the process of learning English amid links to the Gunners and Chelsea.

As per a report from PremiumSportHD, as cited on Calcio Mercato, the player is putting plans in place, in case a Premier League move is on the cards this summer.

Golovin has been one of the stars of the World Cup so far and is also attracting interest from Juventus.

Both Chelsea and Arsenal have been long-term admirers of the player, who is highly thought of in Russia. The Blues are said to view the player as one for the future, which may boost Arsenal’s chances of pipping their London rivals to a deal.

It was reported that Juventus were closing in on a deal, but interest is expected to rise following his performances during the World Cup.

Golovin has scored in Russia’s opening game and was originally valued at close to €25 million, however that is likely to increase following the tournament.
