Arsenal legend Jens Lehmann has confirmed his departure from the club via Twitter.
The former German goalkeeper had joined Arsene Wenger’s coaching staff last year and had been working as a first-team coach. As well as assisting the coaching staff, Lehmann was also working with the goalkeeping coaches.

Speaking on his official Twitter account, Lehmann appeared to send a parting dig to the club.
The attitude from our 2004-group is not needed there anymore.
His departure hints at the big changes to come under new manager Unai Emery, who will not only be looking to put his stamp on the playing staff but the coaching staff too.
The news who will also come as a blow to Arsenal fans, who will be sad to see the German leave, especially after being so influential at the club as a player.
