Jack Wilshere set to leave Arsenal on free transfer
Jack Wilshere is set to leave Arsenal this Summer, with the midfielder on course to leave the Gunners on a free transfer on the expiry of his contract.
The Mirror report that Wilshere is set to leave the Emirates Stadium after talks with new boss Unai Emery. Wilshere reportedly discovered he would be used as a fringe player rather than a starter, meaning that the midfielder will leave Arsenal.
Wilshere was reportedly desperate to stay at Arsenal, however, it now looks like the midfielder will finally leave his boyhood club.
Wolves, West Ham and Everton have all reportedly offered deals, but Wilshere could be tempted with a move to Italy, with Sampdoria, AC Milan and Juventus all interested.
Arsenal have offered Wilshere a bumper £110,000-a-week to stay plus a £65,000 bonus if he plays and the team wins. This takes his potential earnings a week up to £175,000 p/w.
Emery is determined to keep Wilshere but does not want to guarantee the midfielder a guaranteed starting spot.
