Roma are looking to hijack Arsenal’s attempts to sign Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno, according to talkSPORT, who claim that the Giallorossi want the German to replace Alisson.
The Brazilian goalkeeper was one of both Roma’s and Serie A’s star men last season, and has subsequently been linked with a mega money move to either Liverpool or Real Madrid this summer.
While it is not yet known where Alisson will go, it is expected that he will depart the Stadio Olimpico during this transfer window.

Selling the 25-year old would leave the Italian capital outfit low on squad depth in that department, with only Łukasz Skorupski left at the club, and Leno would represent a smart move to bring in a new number one.
The Leverkusen goalkeeper is reportedly already in negotiations with Arsenal over a proposed £22million switch, however Roma’s interest could now sway the Germany international away from the Emirates, with Roma able to offer him Champions League football next season
