Arsenal target keen to make Premier League switch this summer

Arsenal target Jean Michael Seri is reportedly keen to make the switch to the Premier League this summer.

The midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from OGC Nice this summer, with a whole host of clubs from across Europe understood to have expressed an interest in signing him.

Arsenal are said to be among the potential suitors for Seri, who is an established Ivory Coast international.

It was recently claimed by the player’s agent that negotiations between Seri and Napoli were ongoing, with the prospect of playing for the Serie A runners-up of interest to the player.

However, fresh reports from France, as cited by talkSPORT, have indicated that Seri would, in fact, be in favour of a switch to English football this summer.

Arsenal are not the only side in the race, though. Manchester City and Chelsea have also been linked with a move, but the Gunners’ interest has been documented over several transfer windows.

The apparent news of Seri’s preference is sure to come as a boost for Unai Emery, who will hope to accelerate his new club’s pursuit of transfer targets ahead of next season.
