The agent of Nice midfielder Jean Michael Seri has admitted that talks are ongoing with Napoli despite an interest from Arsenal in the player.
Nice star Seri is only under a contract at the club until the end of next season, at which point he could be available on a free if a new deal can’t be agreed.
Napoli have emerged as the heavy favourites to sign the player although Arsenal remain keen on the Nice man.
The player appeared in 43 matches in all competitions last season, where he contributed two goals and also 10 assists from midfield.
Nice ended the season in 8th place in France so he will be keen to start playing in European football when he decides where he will move to.
The player’s agent Franklin Mala, as quoted by Football Italia, has spoken about the situation and delivered an update on Napoli’s pursuit of his client.
