Arsenal close in on deal for defender

Arsenal are moving in on completing a deal for defender Caglar Soyuncul from Freiburg for £35 million, according to the Daily Mail.

He has been heavily linked with move to the Gunners for some time and will complete a move that will be worth £35 million.

Arsenal’s head of recruitment  Sven Mislintat has played a vital role in securing the signing having worked with him when they were both at Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

Liverpool have also been heavily linked with a move for the defender who has a growing reputation around Europe.

The central defender position is something which the North London side have been needing to improve upon and they seem to have landed their man.

He has also earned 16 caps for his international side Turkey and is growing his reputation as an international player and his move to Arsenal is a big step in his career.
