Arsenal want to sign the experienced Steven N’Zonzi from Sevilla this summer, according to the Mirror.
The Gunners are out looking to bring in a holding midfielder ahead of next season and N’Zonzi has emerged as a target, it seems, with the player having previously worked under new Arsenal boss Unai Emery.
N’Zonzi flourished under the Spaniard’s management and quickly established himself as one of the most impressive defensive midfielders in La Liga.

The 29-year-old’s consistency earned him a call-up to the French national side and although he failed to make Didier Deschamps’ squad for the World Cup, he is still held in extremely high esteem.
Arsenal struggled to develop a suitable partnership in front of the back four last season, with the likes of Granit Xhaka struggling to perform under Arsene Wenger.
However, N’Zonzi has now been lined up by Emery according to the Mirror, with the ex-Stoke City star targeted as the new boss’ first signing as Arsenal manager.
