Arsenal have reportedly tabled a one-year contract offer to Juventus man Stephan Lichtsteiner.
The Gunners are closing in on their first signing of the summer transfer window this year, with 34-year-old Lichtsteiner expected to put pen to paper on a short-term deal at the Emirates, according to Di Marzio.
Lichtsteiner sees his contract with Juventus expire at the end of June and it appears as though he will join Arsenal on a free transfer ahead of next season.

Unai Emery is keen to add experience to a vulnerable back-line in his first transfer window as Arsenal boss, with Lichtsteiner looking certain to arrive in the near future.
The right-back is set to come in and act as a deputy to Hector Bellerin, who had little backup throughout the course of last season.
Lichtsteiner will hope to have a deal concluded before he jets off to Russia for the World Cup, with the experienced full-back set to captain his Switzerland side in the tournament.
