Arsenal scouts will be present at Tunisia’s international friendly against Portugal on Monday night to run the rule of winger Bassem Srarfi.
Reports from French outlet Foot Mercato claim that the Gunners will get an up close and personal view of the player, who has impressed in Ligue 1 this season.
Srarfi, who is clearly seen as a talent for the future, only joined Nice last January but has caught the eye of many clubs around Europe since arriving in France.
Fellow Premier League side Leicester have also been credited with an interest in the youngster.
Srarfi is a player that new Arsenal boss Unai Emery himself would have seen in action this season whilst in charge of Paris Saint-Germain.
The winger came off the bench to feature in the final 10 minutes of Nice’s 2-1 defeat against Emery’s PSG back in March.
He featured 34 times in all competitions for Nice last season, scoring just three goals.
