Manchester United have joined Arsenal in the race with for Italian international Lorenzo Pellegrini, accroding to Sky.
Arsenal already have centre-backs Sokratis and Jonny Evans on their radar, and they also hope to bring in a new goalkeeper with Bernd Leno being linked with the North London club. Emery will also try to bring in a midfielder with Pellegrini being his number one option.

Manchester United are also interested in the 21-year-old who, this season, helped Roma to a third-place finish and a very good run in the Champions League, where they reached the semi-final.
Italian rivals Juventus are also interested in Pellegrini and have stated they are considering triggering his £26m release clause.
During Emery’s first press conference at Arsenal, he stated that he will not be relying on too many new faces at the Emirates to get them back in the top four as he believes the team only needs a few minor changes.

I believe in the players who are here. The objective is to work hard, We want to work to improve individually and collectively all that we can. All the titles are important for us, I think we can -and we want to be – candidates for them. I don’t promise we will win but I can promise you we will work hard, work together.
