Juventus could be readying a move for Arsenal defender Shkodran Mustafi, should the Gunners move for Borussia Dortmund centre-half Sokratis Papasthathopoulos.
Since last week, Arsenal have been linked with a move for Greece international Sokratis, who German outlet Bild claim could be brought in by new manager Unai Emery as the first post-Wenger signing for the club.
They will also have to contend with competition from Manchester United for the 29-year old, with José Mourinho also reportedly keen on bringing Sokratis to England.

But Arsenal may see one in and one out if they do negotiate the signing of Sokratis, with Juventus waiting in the wings to snap up World Cup winning centre half Mustafi.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Mustafi has long been a target for the Turin based side, and they’re prepared to make their move for the 26-year old German.
Mustafi has endured mixed times for the Gunners, having failed to fully establish himself as a key player for the club, and could consider a switch to Juventus Stadium with the Bianconeri as an exciting new challenge.
