Arsenal are reportedly set to battle Juventus and Atletico Madrid for the signing of Emil Forsberg this summer.
According to claims from Expressen, as cited in a report from Calciomercato, the Gunners remain keen on signing the Swedish international in the near future.
Unai Emery wants to strengthen his Arsenal squad this summer and reports indicate that Forsberg could be a target.
The playmaker, who can play in the hole or on the left wing, did not enjoy a brilliant season for RB Leipzig after a superb campaign in 2016/17. Forsberg could only muster up two goals and two assists in the Bundesliga season, but this does not appear to have deterred Arsenal in their interest.

However, if they do indeed push through with their efforts to sign Forsberg this summer, Leipzig will not allow him to move on cheaply. It’s claimed that a fee worth €50 million will be required to convince the Bundesliga side to sell.
Juventus and Atletico could find themselves in the driving seat in the race for Forsberg, though, given that they have qualified for the Champions League next season.
Arsenal, meanwhile, will be playing their football in the Europa League after a disappointing campaign last term.
