Arsenal have announced that Unai Emery has officially taken the role as new manager at the Emirates.
The decision may have come as a shock for some Arsenal fans as it seemed nailed on that ex-player and captain Mikel Arteta would be taking on the role.
But after successful talks, Emery has taken the job and will be replacing Arsene Wenger.
Emery previously spent three seasons at Spanish side Sevilla, where he won the Europa League three years in a row.

He then took over at PSG in 2016 and won seven major trophies in France.
He announced he would not be renewing his contract at PSG in April, which has led him to find himself taking on his first managerial role in England.
Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis, head of football relations Raul Sanllehi and head of recruitment Sven Mislintat were the men who had the job of finding possible replacements, but the final decision was down to owner Stan Kroenke.
