Arsenal are continuing to track the status of Porto defender Danilo Pereira as they look to rebuild their squad this summer, according to the Mirror.
The club are understood to have been following the player for some time and are keen to introduce some competition for Hector Bellerin at right back next season.
The club are close to appointing Unai Emery as the new boss and are looking to give him funds to work with ahead of the 2018/19 campaign.

The player is currently injured and is set to miss the World Cup with Portugal, but the Gunners are hopeful of getting a deal done when he recovers from his ailment.
The North Londoners are are said to be in contact with the player’s representatives as they try to lay the foundations for the transfer.
