Arsenal’s Lucas Perez’s agent has confirmed that the forward would be very interested in joining Lazio.
Perez’s agent has been quoted as saying this when asked about his player’s thoughts on Lazio:
He’s always liked them
This comes days after it was reported that Lazio asked about the availability of Perez, with his loan club Deportivo La Coruna being relegated from La Liga and Perez being surplus to requirements at the Emirates.
Lazio asked for him last year, but nothing came of it,
Rodrigo Fernandez, Perez’s agent, told the Italian media.
Lucas has always liked Lazio and the city of Rome, plus his great friend, Luis Alberto, plays for them.
He still has two years left on his contract with Arsenal, so we need to talk to them first.
As for Lucas, he likes the idea of playing for Lazio, but it’s still too early to talk about it.
Wherever Perez ends up going he will will be looking to rejuvenate his career after a poor couple of seasons in North London and Spain.
