Five things we’ve learned from Arsenal’s 2017/18 season

On Sunday, Arsene Wenger said goodbye to Arsenal after 22 years at the club, signing off with a 1-0 win away at Huddersfield Town.

It has been a poor season for the Gunners and after years of pressure from the fans, Wenger is finally on his way out of the club.

Throughout the season, Arsenal have put in some terrible performances with fans and pundits claiming that some of the players lacked ‘heart and desire’.

The win against Huddersfield on Saturday was Arsenal’s first away win of 2018 in the league and that about sums up the North London club’s season.

Wenger has been a great servant to the club and he got the send off he deserved, but many people believe his stubbornness to stay at the club this long has meant for a bitter ending to his time with the club.

As always, plenty can be taken from a season and we’ve looked at five things Arsenal will have learned from the 2017/18 campaign.
