Arsenal have reportedly made an offer to sign Cengiz Under from Roma this summer.
According to claims from Italian news outlet TMW, the Gunners want to add Under to their squad ahead of next season and will do battle with Monaco for the wide midfielder.
Under has enjoyed an excellent first season at Roma and established himself as an important player for Eusebio Di Francesco’s side.

It’s reported that Roma have set a valuation for Under worth €50 million, which is certainly a steep price tag for potential suitors to meet if they intend to make moves this summer.
Arsenal are understood by TMW to be currently falling short of this valuation from Roma. It’s stated that they have submitted an offer worth €30 million for Under, whilst Monaco have gone one better with a bid priced at €35 million.
Roma will be keen to keep hold of Under this summer but if these fresh claims are to be believed, it will not be without fending off the interest of some other top European clubs.
