Arsenal player ratings: 2017/18 season

Arsenal endured a very tough season, both on and off the pitch, this year as they finished in 6th place in the Premier League and were knocked out in the Europa League at the semi-final stage.

Arsene Wenger’s final season in charge wasn’t the picturebook ending everyone would have likes as the club found it tough to find form on the road, winning just four away games all year.

There were, however, some positive signs for Arsenal with new signings Alexandre Lacazette, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang all making impacts when they joined the club.

The performances in the domestic cups were mixed with Wenger’s side reaching the final of the EFL Cup while getting knocked out in the Third Round of the FA Cup to Championship side Nottingham Forest.

The Gunners home form in the league was very impressive and was only bettered by runaway league champions Manchester City, but on the road, they were dreadful.

Here’s how we rated Arsenal’s players throughout the campaign.
