Mikel Arteta is already putting plans in place to replace Arsene Wenger this summer with the Spaniard preparing his backroom staff at the Emirates, according to the Independent.
It has been reported that Juventus boss Max Allegri has indicated that he will stay at the club this summer despite reports saying he is heading away from Turin.
The Gunners have not come to a definite decision as of yet and they are exploring other avenues, but Arteta, currently Pep Guardiola’s assistant seems to be the front-runner to replace Wenger.

The report claims that the Manchester City assistant wants the job, regardless of his position with the Premier League champions.
Allegri has not completely ruled himself out of the Arsenal job, but on Sunday he told the media after his latest Serie A title win that he will be staying.
If they don’t fire me, I see myself staying at Juventus next year too.
Allegri believes he can win the Champions League at Juventus and he wants an agreement with the board that they will give him the required financial backing he needs to invest in the squad to make that happen.
