Premier League winner ready to push for Arsenal move

Leicester City midfielder Riyad Mahrez is still looking to get a move away from the club and it seems a move to Arsenal is his preferred destination, according to the Express.

Mahrez handed in a transfer request in January as he hoped to get a move to Premier League champions Manchester City but this failed to materialise with the club proving too stubborn.

City were keen on bringing him on the final day of the window but the Algerian remained with the Foxes.

He has tailed off of late but has performed well since his dream move to the Etihad fell through at the start of the year.

It will take a large sum to get the playmaker away from the King Power while Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea are also keen on the player.

Arsenal have long been linked with the player as they look to add more creativity to their squad.
