Arsenal could now be looking at other managerial options as Luis Enrique wants £15 million after tax to succeed Arsene Wenger, according to the Daily Mirror.
Wenger is currently on an annual salary of around £8 million at the North London club, and if Enrique was to get his wish, he would be raking in a whopping £25 million a year before tax.
The Gunners are now more likely to look at younger managerial options, as they look to revamp the coaching structure at the Emirates.
Former players Mikel Arteta and Patrick Vieira are two names currently in the frame, with Vieira open admitting he would be interested in the role.

One interesting name to crop up in the last few days is Jurgen Klopp’s former assistant, Zeljko Buvac, who was named as a candidate following his unexpected leave of absence from Anfield this week.
Ex-Barcelona man Enrique is the being championed by the director of football relations Raul Sanllehi, who previously worked with the Spaniard at the Nou Camp.
However, with his huge wage demands and the likelihood that Enrique will want to bring a large backroom team with him, the move seems highly unlikely at this stage
