# PSG plan surprise move for Arsenal chief

PSG are planning a surprise move for Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger this summer, according to [reports](https://talksport.com/football/arsene-wenger-latest-frenchman-offered-chance-work-psg-reports-180427280715).

The Frenchman confirmed last week that he will be stepping down from his position as Arsenal manager at the end of the season, prompting fresh claims that PSG may look to move for him.

Unai Emery is poised to be replaced by the top brass at the Ligue 1 champions and Wenger, who is a long-term target of PSG’s, appears to be in the picture as they look for replacements.

Former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel has been heavily linked with a move to Paris but, if Le10 Sport are to be believed, Wenger’s impending departure from the Emirates has piqued PSG’s interest ahead of the summer.

It’s claimed, rather speculatively, that a four-year deal has already been tabled for the experienced manager to ponder, with Wenger intending on continuing as a manager following his 22-year stay in North London.
