Arsene Wenger has said that he is a fan of Luis Enrique, with the former Barcelona manager linked to the managers’ job going at the Emirates, as per The Mirror.
Wenger is stepping down as Arsenal manager after 22 years in the hot seat at the Gunners.
Many big names have been linked to the Arsenal job already, one of whom is Enrique, the former FC Barcelona manager, who oversaw the Catalan giants’ treble winning season of 2014/15.

Other possible candidates which have been names are former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti, current Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers and Arsenal legends Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira.
Wenger, spekaing of Enrique, said in a recent interview:
I have a high opinion of him but I don’t want to influence the job for the next manager.
Enrique won two La Liga titles, three Copa del Reys and a Champions League while at the Camp Nou.
Currently out of a job, he may be on his way to London to get his first taste of English football, having previously managed in two of Europe’s top five leagues, managing Roma in 2011-12.
Enrique is the bookmakers favourit and may be a good bet if Wenger’s opinion is anything to go by.
