Patrick Vieira has responded to the recent reports linking him with a move to Arsenal.
The Gunners are on the lookout for a new first-team manager with Arsene Wenger having confirmed on Friday that he will be stepping down at the end of the season.
A number of managers across Europe have been linked with a move to the Emirates but a more left-field appointment that has been touted is that of Vieira.

The Frenchman is currently performing well in his role as the manager of New York City FC out in the United States and given his history with Arsenal, the club’s hierarchy were reportedly considering a surprise swoop.
However, Vieira has since discussed the chances of him taking the reins ahead of next season, insisting that he remains happy in his current job in the MLS.
As quoted by Sky Sports, Vieira admitted to being flattered by the links but made it clear that his focus is solely on the task at hand.
I spent nine years at Arsenal which makes the club really special for me. But that is not enough to coach the team. I am always flattered to hear my name linked with different football clubs. That is good for your ego but at the same time, I am happy here. We will see what will happen in the next couple of years.
