Wenger talks up CSKA Moscow star as speculation continues

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has heaped the praise on CSKA Moscow’s Aleksandr Golovin as his side prepare to face the Russian outfit in their Europa League quarter-final second leg, as reported by Football London.

The youngster has really impressed for the Russian side over the last couple of years and a potential move to Arsenal has been discussed widely in the media recently.

He scored a stunning free-kick in the first leg against Wenger’s side last week in a brilliant performance, which will surely only enhance his growing reputation.

Wenger has spoken of his admiration for the player, with Golovin in exceptional form, and the Frenchman also refused to rule out a potential swoop for the 21-year-old.

His performances are very good and he is a regular player in the Russian team so that means he is a very strong player. In fact if you look at CSKA they have two regular players in midfield who play for Russia so they have the best midfield in the country. Certainly in Russia.

Arsenal can progress through to the semi-finals of the Europa League with a positive scoreline against CSKA this evening.
