Arsenal player ratings: CSKA Moscow (A)

Arsenal confirmed their place in the semi-final of the Europa League as they edged out CSKA Moscow 3-6 on aggregate on Thursday evening.

The Gunners drew the second leg 2-2 in Russia, and that was enough to send them through after being 4-1 up in the first leg.

Danny Welbeck and Aaron Ramsey scored the all important away goals for the Gunners to move them a step closer to getting back into the Champions League ahead of next season.

It was a far from convincing performance from Arsene Wenger’s side as they were up against it for much of the night, having been 2-0 down at one point.

They now go into tomorrow’s lunchtimes draw knowing that they are now just three matches from securing back their place in the Champions League after a season away.

Here is how we rated the players following tonight’s game.
