Arsenal lining up Luis Enrique

Former Barcelona manager Luis Enrique looks set to return to coaching this summer with the latest reports linking him as a possible successor to Arsene Wenger.

With former Borussia Dortmund manager Thomas Tuchel looking set to take over at Paris Saint Germain in the summer, the Gunners will have to look for a second choice if they are to replace Wenger in the summer, with reports now suggesting that they could go in for Enrique.

After a year out of the game, Enrique has already admitted to having turned down offers to return to management.

PSG were also said to be interest in luring Enrique to the club as a replacement for Unai Emery who is set to leave the Ligue 1 giants in the summer.

With PSG now seeming to have settled on appointing Tuchel, Arsenal are favourites to land Enrique with Wenger’s future at the club up in the air.

Former Barcelona Director Raül Sanllehí, now the Head of Football Relations at Arsenal, could be a key factor in Arsenal’s interest in Enrique.
