Arsenal took a giant step to the last four of the Europa League as they eased past CSKA Moscow in the first leg at the Emirates, winning 4-1 on the night.
A brace a piece from Aaron Ramsey and the returning Alexandre Lacazette was enough to send the Gunners into the second leg with a huge advantage over their Russian opponents.
They were in control throughout the first half as the Russian’s failed to cope with Arsene Wenger’s side particularly in the first-half which saw four goals.
Moscow did net an away goal but you sense that the English club have done enough to find their way through to the semi-final of the competition.
Ramsey also saw a goal disallowed prior to his two strikes but he made up for it with two superb strikes in the game.
The Gunners are well set prior to the second leg.
