Arsene Wenger has refused to rule out attempting to tie up any deal for CSKA Moscow’s Aleksandr Golovin this summer ahead of Arsenal’s Europe League quarter-final tie against the Russian side, football.london reports.
Arsenal have been persistently linked with a move for CSKA Moscow’s star player and the Arsenal boss was questioned by Russian journalists about his interest in the player at his pre-match press conference on Wednesday.

Wenger refused to give much away when quizzed about Golovin but didn’t rule out a move for the young starlet:
You can understand that if I speak to you about respect, that I do not want to come out and speak about transfers of some CSKA Moscow players to Arsenal. That is not the case at the moment and I don’t think it would be appropriate to talk about something like that the day before the game.
The 21-year-old has hit the back of the net five times in 21 appearances so far this season for the Russian side, including scoring in the 3-2 win against Lyon in the previous round of the Europa League.
