Arsenal defender opens up on bust-up with teammate

Arsenal defender Hector Bellerin has admitted that he has made up with Mesut Ozil after a bust-up during the win over Stoke.

The pair engaged in a heated exchange on the pitch at the weekend as they won 3-0 against the relegation threatened side.

Ozil became frustrated with the fullback after he waited too long to play a pass, leaving Ozil in a offside position when the ball came his way.

Despite the clear tension between the pair on the pitch, they were seen embracing after the match, and have now made things right with each other.

As quoted by Goal, Bellerin said this:

Straight after the game, we were hugging each other. It happens and what happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch.

I think he said something like, ‘You talk too much’ and to be fair, if I was a guy playing alongside myself, I do probably talk a bit too much!

But I always want to give information to the players in front of me and I want players to demand from me as well. That is how it works.

We only have a pair of eyes so, when you have players around you that can give you information, it is always important.

It is normal to always get into things like that in games, this time the cameras picked it up.

This is part of football, it happens every day and once it finishes, we are all friends again.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang netted twice for Arsenal, before Alexandre Lacazette rounded off the scoring with a late penalty to secure the three points for Arsenal.
