# Gunners managerial target planning backroom staff ahead of summer move

Arsenal managerial target Thomas Tuchel is said to be planning for the manager’s position at Paris Saint-Germain.

Bild, as cited by [Eurosport](https://www.eurosport.de/fussball/ligue-1/2017-2018/paris-saint-germain-thomas-tuchel-sucht-angeblich-schon-einen-co-trainer-fur-psg_sto6690850/story.shtml) claim that the ex-Dortmund boss is on the hunt for an assistant to join him in Paris.

Reports over the weekend claimed that Tuchel was in [talks](https://readarsenal.com/2018/03/25/arsenal-open-talks-with-managerial-target/) with Arsenal about the possibility of replacing Arsene Wenger this summer.

Contrasting suggestions claimed that PSG were also in the hunt to hire Tuchel this summer and the French side appear to be leading the race for the ex-Dortmund boss.

Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Tuchel in the past but a move to Stamford Bridge appears unlikely.

Tuchel was heavily linked with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich but [reports](https://readbundesliga.com/2018/03/24/thomas-tuchel-rejects-bayern-in-favour-of-moving-abroad/) in Germany over the weekend claimed that he had turned down a move.

Despite looking set to win Ligue 1 this season Unai Emery is widely expected to leave the French giants this summer after failing to impress in the Champions League.
