Jack Wilshere hasn’t travelled with the England squad for tomorrow’s friendly against the Netherlands after suffering injury in training this morning, according to reports.
Wilshere, who has managed to stay fit for most of this season, was set to make his first England appearacne since Euro 2016 when his side faced the Netherlands in Amsterdam on Friday, but that will no longer be the case.
There is no word as of yet as to what injuy the midfielder has suffered and Arsenal fans wull be hoping that it isn’t anything too serious as he’s an important part of their side.
Wilshere was hoping to use the games against the Netherlands and Italyto force his way back into Gareth Southgate’s side, but he’ll no longer have that chance.
Southgate is set to speak to the press this evening, where he’ll be expected give a full update on Wilshere’s injury.
